La primera visita de Tsuchiya a la región tuvo lugar en Chile, durante la Super Japan Expo en 2015. Más que simples presentaciones en festivales, esas experiencias evidenciaron la resonancia que su propuesta artística puede alcanzar fuera de Japón.
Esta nueva gira no se percibe únicamente como una expansión territorial, sino como la evolución natural de una historia que ya estaba en marcha: la de un público que la recibió años atrás y que ahora podrá experimentar la intensidad de un tour completo. Aunque Colombia no forma parte de esta primera ruta, la artista expresó su deseo de visitar el país próximamente. Dentro de su repertorio, “Rose” ocupa un lugar fundamental al haber sido la canción que impulsó su música a nivel global y amplió su alcance internacional.
Actualmente, Anna Tsuchiya continúa explorando una nueva etapa creativa bajo el proyecto BLVCKPHOENIX, una fase que da nombre y concepto a esta gira. El “BLVCK PHOENIX World Tour” no solo simboliza transformación y renacimiento artístico, sino que podría consolidar un vínculo cultural que cruza continentes. Bunka Wave. Muchas gracias por aceptar esta entrevista para Colombia y Latinoamérica. ¿Qué artistas o experiencias han influido más en tu música y estilo a lo largo de los años?
Anna: Queen… Me encanta la forma en que colocan emoción cruda e intensidad sobre melodías tan hermosas. Cyndi Lauper… Adoro tanto su voz como sus letras, pero más que nada respeto profundamente su humanidad, la manera en que canta para alguien, no solo para presentarse, ¡y también Bette Midler!
B.W. Tu gira por Latinoamérica comienza en abril; ¿cuáles son tus expectativas sobre cómo será recibida tu música por los fans de la región?
Anna. Solo espero que el mensaje de mis canciones llegue a ellos.
B.W. ¿Qué sabes sobre Colombia? ¿Te gustaría visitar nuestro país?
Anna. Me entristece no poder visitarlo en esta ocasión, pero ¡me encantaría ir algún día!
B.W. ¿Hay algo de la cultura latina que te interese particularmente?
Anna. ¡Me encantan el café y los aguacates! Y realmente me gustaría aprender más sobre la música y las tradiciones colombianas a partir de ahora.
B.W. Al componer o preparar un show, ¿Qué parte del proceso creativo disfrutas más?
Anna. Cuando una canción resulta incluso mejor de lo que imaginaba, cuando creo algo que realmente supera mis propias expectativas.
B.W. ¿Hay alguna canción en tu repertorio que tenga una historia especial para ti?
Anna. “Rose”. Esta canción ayudó a llevar mi música al mundo.
B.W. ¿Tienes nuevos lanzamientos que puedas compartir con tus fans?

Her bond with Latin America does not begin now. Tsuchiya first visited the region in 2015 in Chile, where she performed at Super Japan Expo. Anna. I’m sad that I won’t be able to visit this time, but I would absolutely love to go someday!
B.W. Is there anything about Latin culture that particularly interests you, such as food, music, or traditions?
Anna. I love coffee and avocados! And I’d really like to learn more about Colombian music and traditions from now on.
B.W. When composing or preparing a show, what part of the creative process do you enjoy the most?
Anna. When a song turns out even better than I imagined — when I create something that truly exceeds my own expectations.
B.W. Is there a song in your repertoire that holds a special story or memory for you?
Anna. “Rose.” This song helped bring my music to the world.
