In an exciting development, the highly anticipated ASTERISM US TOUR 2023 has been transformed into an extraordinary series of free live concerts! Originally planned as ticketed events in Santa Ana and New York City, the band has made this bold decision to make their performances accessible to all audiences. This announcement coincides with the band’s global release of their Anison cover album titled Animetic+p, which will be available on June 28, 2023. The album showcases instrumental renditions of popular songs, including «Kaikai Kitan,» the opening theme from the immensely popular anime series Jujutsu Kaisen, as well as «Silhouette» from the blockbuster anime series Naruto Shippuden.
ASTERISM is embarking on their first US Tour since 2019 and is committed to making this journey accessible to a diverse audience. With their much-anticipated performance at Anime Expo 2023, the band extends a warm invitation to music enthusiasts, locals, students, and passionate anime fans who are encountering their unique sound for the first time. About ASTERISM:
ASTERISM is a three-piece instrumental heavy metal band consisting of HAL-CA (Gt), MIYU (Ba) and MIO (Dr). All three have enjoyed music since childhood. HAL-CA worked solo, MIO and MIYU performed together as brothers. In 2014, the three met at a musical competition and ASTERISM was formed. The band has been active both domestically and internationally since 2019, touring the US and Asia, including an appearance at SXSW. The band made their major debut from Sony Music Labels in March 2023. The band is aiming for further global expansion with a new genre called “MASS METAL” which stands for metal music that reaches, resonates, and is loved by the masses, through their meticulously composed music and unique pop sensibilities.
