Entrevistamos a este talentoso y animado dueto japonés quienes se enamoraron de nuestro continente y de paso nos contaron de sus recientes proyectos. – We talk with this duet smart and outgoing who are loved of our Latin continent and also, they spoke about their recent musical projects.

Latinoamérica cada vez está más cerca de Oriente. Este año (que todavía no acaba) ha sido muy dinámico y nuestro continente hispano ha recibido muchas visitas de varias bandas de Japón. M.O.V.E. se suma a esta selecta lista. Ellos decidieron explorar esta parte del mundo haciendo mover con su música al majestuoso Brasil, al cálido Perú, a los apasionados chilenos y a los eufóricos argentinos. Precisamente estuvimos en el Anime Friends Argentina 2011 (organizado por Yamato) y nuestros corresponsales escribieron una crónica, la cual puedes leerla en Wave (en español e ingles).

Desde 1997, M.O.V.E. ha estado activo, sacudiendo cabezas y haciendo bailar cuerpos contagiando con su música cada lugar donde ellos actúan. Por eso, las impresiones de su gira latinoamericana están publicadas en su diario de viaje (en japonés) de su web oficial. Así mismo, de la mano de AVEX, su sello disquero, lanzaron recientemente su nuevo trabajo AniM.O.V.E. 03 el pasado 7 de septiembre, en el que sus fanáticos podrán disfrutar mucho más de ellos. Por el momento los dejamos con esta entrevista que nos concedieron sus integrantes, Yuri y Motsu en que nos cuentan un poco de ellos, de su gusto por la música y de su futuro.

Colectivo Bunka. Muchas gracias por aceptarnos esta entrevista para Colombia y Latinoamérica. Para M.O.V.E., ¿cuáles son sus mayores influencias musicales?

Motsu. La música Dance de los años 80’s – 90’s.

Yuri. Desde el jardín de niños tocaba piano, todos ahí tocábamos música clásica. Pienso que los momentos que viví ahí y escuchando a Madonna en el auto de mi casa fueron las raíces de lo que hago ahora.

C. B. ¿Qué temas inspiran a M.O.V.E. para componer sus canciones?

M. Pensamos siempre en canciones para bailar, música que haga que el cuerpo se mueva por sí sólo.

C. B. ¿Cómo ven ustedes la escena J-pop y J-metal alrededor del mundo hoy día?

M. Me siento feliz de que la cultura japonesa sea transmitida rápidamente por todo el mundo. De hecho yo disfruto del Baile Funk de Brasil y Pop de Indonesia, de los cuales no podría disfrutar sin la internet. Pienso que el J-Pop y el Metal de Japón se escuchan con cierto aire particular y exótico. Por eso pienso que es importante siempre mantener la musicalidad.

Y. Me sorprende y me alegra de verdad que, no sólo las canciones de Anime, sino que el J-pop, la cultura de Japón sea amada por el mundo. Quiero seguir extendiendo la cultura y me sentiría contenta si M.O.V.E. se hace cargo de una parte de eso.

C. B. En la historia de M.O.V.E., ¿cuál es el concierto más importante que ustedes nunca olvidarán? ¿Por qué?

M. Sería el concierto de despedida del productor Takashi Kimura. Aún seguimos produciendo juntos, pero como fue el último concierto en el que estaríamos juntos en el escenario, no pude evitar llorar.

Y. Fue el concierto de despedida de T-Kimura. Ese concierto ha sido el evento más importante para M.O.V.E.

C. B. ¿Han oído o conocen de algún artista latinoamericano? (Si su respuesta es no, ¿qué les gustaría conocer de Latinoamérica en cuanto a su música?)

M. Como lo mencioné ahora, supe de la existencia del Baile Funk de Brasil por medio de la Internet y la disfruté por medio de Youtube, también compré un álbum compilatorio y lo transmitimos en nuestro programa de radio. En las canciones con ritmos algo salvajes y con tono de rap, percibí algo parecido al Hip-Hop. Viajamos por cuatro países en Suramérica, y me pareció genial el rock en portugués y en español que se emitía en MTV de cada uno de los países.

Y. Me encanta. Centrándome en la Bossa Nova y en el Healing, escucho frecuentemente música latinoamericana.

C. B. En este instante, ustedes están finalizando esta gira latinoamericana. ¿Cómo ha sido la respuesta del público latino en sus presentaciones? Y, ¿cuáles son sus impresiones sobre esta gira?

M. Agradezco de corazón que le hayan dado una apasionada bienvenida a unos tipos raros que vienen del otro lado del planeta (Risas). Sentimos una vibración mayor a la que nosotros le transmitimos. Quisiera volver para devolverles el favor.

Y. Primero, la aceptación que recibimos me hizo sentir sencillamente feliz. Como fue nuestra primera vez en Latinoamérica, nuestra agenda estuvo apretada, pero nos sirvió para nuestro crecimiento.

C. B. Brevemente háblennos de su reciente producción OveRtaKers Spirit, donde ustedes invitaron a dos músicos: Ryuchi Kawamura and Sugizo para tocar las canciones.

M. Apuntamos a una fusión entre Rock y Dance. Interpretamos el impulso de The Chemical Brothers y de Underworld, que aparecieron a mediados de los 90’s,  en J-Pop. Pienso que pudimos tener un choque de almas con ellos, que se podría decir que son leyendas del rock en Japón.

Y. En el álbum OveRtaKers Spirit juntamos canciones que quisiéramos presentar en un concierto más hacia el Rock. Las personas que llegaron a conocer a M.O.V.E. por medio del Anime, también escuchen este álbum.

C. B. ¿Cuáles son sus planes para este año?

M. El 7 de septiembre saldrá a la venta un álbum de canciones de Anime “animo.v.e03”. El atractivo de este tercer álbum de la serie es Yukari Tamura, con quién he tenido la oportunidad de cantar. Logramos un Dance-Pop súper animado.

Y. Preparándonos para el 15o. aniversario, estamos preparando varias cosas.♪

C. B. Nuevamente, muchas gracias por darnos esta entrevista y nos gustaría que nos enviaran un saludo para nuestros oyentes en Colombia y Latinoamérica.

Latin America is becoming closer to the East. This year has been very dynamic and our continent’s Hispanic population has received many visits from many bands from Japan. M.O.V.E. (here click to official website) joins this select list. They decided to explore this venue of the world by moving their music to the majestic Brazil, the warm Peru, the passionate Chilean fans and ecstatic Argentines fans. We just stayed at the Argentina Anime Friends 2011 (organized by Yamato) and our correspondents wrote a chronicle, which you can read it in Wave (in Spanish and English) (Here click to chronicle).

Since 1997, M.O.V.E. has been up, shaking heads and bodies with their contagious dance music every place where they have played. Therefore, the impressions of his Latin American tour are posted on his travel diary (in Japanese) on its official website. Also, the hand of AVEX, his record label, recently launched his new AniM.O.V.E. 03 on September 7th, in which fans can enjoy more of them. For now we leave you with this interview we granted its members, Yuri and Motsu that tell us a little about them, their love of music and their future.

C. B. Thank you very much to attend us in this interview for Colombia and Latin America. What are your biggest music influences to M.O.V.E.?

Motsu. Dance music from the 80’s – 90’s.

Yuri. Since kindergarten, I was playing piano, would play classical music all there. I think the time I lived there and listening to Madonna in the car of my house were the roots of what I do now.

C. B. What inspires M.O.V.E. topics to compose?

M. We think always to do songs to dance, music that makes the body move by itself.

C. B. How do you see Japan pop and metal music scene around the world in the present day?

M. I am happy that Japanese culture is transmitted rapidly around the world. In fact, I enjoy dancing Pop Funk Brazil and Indonesia, which could not enjoy without the Internet. I think the J-Pop and J-Metal are heard with a certain particular and exotic sound. So I think it is important to always maintain musicality.

Y. I’m surprised and glad of truth, not just anime songs, but the J-pop, Japanese culture is loved by the world. I want to continue spreading the culture and I would be happy if M.O.V.E. takes over a part of that.

C. B. In the M.O.V.E.’s history, what is the most important concert that you never forgive? Why?

M. It would be the farewell concert producer Takashi Kimura. Yet we continue to produce together, but as was the last concert we would be together on stage, I could not avoid crying.

Y. It was farewell concert of t-Kimura. This concert it has been the event most important to M.O.V.E.

C. B. Did you know or did you listen any Latin America band or musician? (If your answer is no, what would you like to know of Latin America about your music?)

M. As I said now, I learned of the existence of Baile Funk Brazil through the Internet, and I enjoyed through Youtube, I also bought a compilation album and broadcasting our radio show. In the songs with some wild rhythms and tone of rap, I felt something like Hip-Hop. We traveled through four countries in South America, and I thought it was great rock in Portuguese and Spanish that was broadcast on MTV from each of the countries.

Y. I love it. I am focusing on the Bossa Nova and the Healing, often hear Latin American music.

C. B. In this moment, you are finishing this Latin tour. How has been the answer from Latin audience about your presentations? And, what is your opinion about this Latin tour?

M. My heartfelt gratitude to you was given a welcome passionate about weird guys who come from across the planet (Lol). We felt a vibration greater than what we transmit. I would like to come back to return the favor.

Y. First, the acceptance that we received just made ​​me feel happy. As was our first time in Latin America, our schedule was tight, but it served to our growth.

C. B. Briefly, tell us about the last album OveRtaKers Spirit, where you invited two great musicians: Ryuchi Kawamura and Sugizo to play the songs.

M. We aim at a fusion between Rock and Dance. We interpret the impulse The Chemical Brothers & Underworld, which appeared in the mid 90’s, J-Pop. I think we have a clash of souls with them, you could say they are rock legends in Japan.

Y. In the album OveRtaKers Spirit together songs that would like to present a concert closer to the Rock. People came to know M.O.V.E. through Anime, also listen to this album.

C. B. What plans do you have this year?

M. On September 7th will be released an album of songs from Anime «animo.v.e03.» The appeal of this third album of the series is Yukari Tamura, who has had the opportunity to sing. We won a Super Anime Dance-Pop.

Y. Preparing for the 15th anniversary, we are preparing several things. ♪
